Lanxess expands Antwerp plant

A new investment of euro 3 5m will see Lanxess expand its caprolac-tam production plant at Antwerp,in Belgium,by 10% over the next two years,further strengthening its position in polyamides.Caprolactum is a key raw material in the manufacture of PA 6.The Antwerp plant currently supplies around 200,000tpa of the feedstock.
