Krauss-Maffei has developed its Ecopac line of services and products to help processors save energy in their extrusion operations.The company's flap unit,for instance,has been developed to help reduce heat loss from extruders and responds to research showing temperature peaks around the ventilation covers of even well insulated extruder barrels.
