The T-Form project has a simple aim:to reduce,by 40%,the development time for thermoformed products by eliminating the need for trial and error.It is thought that the resulting higher efficiency could provide thermoformers with a 35% overall product cost advantage.It is part of the EU's Sixth Framework Programme,under which research organisations perform technological research sponsored by the EU on behalf of industrial trade organisations and their small and medium sized enterprise(SME)members.T-Form is funded to the tune of euro4.58m-of which euro2.85m is from the European Union.
