European bag makers fined over 20-year pricing cartel

Sixteen European bag makers have received fines totalling euro 290m after the European Commission uncovered a price-fixing cartel in the industrial bag sector. Sales directors and even managing directors were involved in the 20-year scam,meeting often at the Valveplast trade association.
