Vacuum drying pays off for Mack

US-based injection moulder Mack Molding has incorporated Maguire LPD vacuum resin dryers in its short run and prototyping medical injection moulding cell at its Arlington headquarters,reporting an improvement in changeover and cell productivity.Equipped with five injection moulding machines in the range from 40 to 100 tonnes,each equipped with a dedicated LPD dryer,the new moulding cell is intended to support Mack's medical industry customers with a short run capability for prototyping,as well as small-lot and multiple colour production.
