Modular controller yields return on investment

A new modular controller for hot runner systems yields an early return on investment by helping moulders increase productivity and reduce maintenance, scrap and energy use, claims manufacturer Fast Heat. The Ion Series system saves costs because of its accuracy, says director of sales Sean Rainsford. It comes with software that takes temperature readings 30 times per second to maintain temperatures within narrow tolerances, he says.
