Economic production of long parts in small'injection moulding machines and in highly viscous plastics seemed an impossibility until it was shown live at K2007 by Engel.Now Arburg too has applied the Exjection technique to one of its machines.Arburg has implemented the technology on one of its vertical injection moulding machines-a 50-tonne All-rounder 375V 500-290 machine fitted with electromechanical dosing and core pulling and a 172g plasticis-ing unit.
