Krones will be exhibiting high speed production for the PET bottle blow-moulding process at K2004-live on stage.Krones has upped the outputs of its Contiform S series of stretch blow-moulding machines to 1,800 containers per cavity per hour.At the same time,an optimisation package has signifi-cantly downsized the compressed air consumption,and thus the energy requirement.Both will be demonstrated in high-speed runs by Krones.These figures are also achieved in shop-floor conditions as well,claims the company.
