Byk-Chemie has entered the thermoplastics market with the launch of three wetting and dispersing additives for colour masterbatches.The functionalised copoly-mers in the Disperplast series are not comparable with standard waxes or metal soaps,says the company,as they do not act as lubricants but adhere efficiently to the pigment surface.Disperplast-1010 is aimed at masterbatches used for cast film and thin-walled injection moulded articles,by enhancing colour strength and reducing pigment agglomerates.
