Silgan buys closure moulder Ipec Global

Plastics packaging manufacturer Silgan Holdings has acquired Ipec Global, a plastic closure moulder that specialises in the North American dairy and juice markets. Terms were not disclosed. Ipec, based in Pennsyl- vania, had sales of about $35m (?25.1m) in 2010, according to Silgan.
