Buyers secure price concessions

Most classes of standard thermoplastics faced price pressure over the past two months due to falling feedstock costs. Producers' plans to raise prices in order to improve profit margins were strongly resisted by converters. Buyers were determined to share at least some of the feedstock cost reduction with producers.
