September saw a mixed picture in terms of price development for the different classes of standard thermoplastics.Polyolefin producers faced greatest pressure to grant price concessions and notations moved very little. LDPE and PP copolymer grades edged euro 10/tonne higher while LLDPE and HDPE remained largely unchanged. PP homopolymers were down by euro 10/tonne, in line with the reduction in the cost of feedstock.
