PTI invests in high speed testing

US-based packaging development company Plastic Technologies (PTI) has installed a PPT3000 Packaging Pressure Tester from AGR International to support its new project development activities. This latest generation servo- controlled tester is said to allow lab personnel to assess the performance potential of all points of a container, simultaneously. Designed to reduce shelf life testing to a matter of minutes, the machine requires only tap water for filling and nitrogen gas for pressurisation.
