Herbold Meckesheim of Germany has developed a new vertical pulverising concept to produce powders from rigid PVC and PE waste. The company says its new disc design achieves a greater powder fineness and a higher throughput than in established designs using a horizontal disc configuration. This means "refeeding of coarse material becomes superfluous or can be achieved in a much easier way than with conventional pulverisers", the company says.
