Evonik plays a part in eco-car project

A lightweight electric vehicle, Wind Explorer, has crossed Australia using little more than energy from wind turbines. Weighing just 200kg and with a range of 400km per battery charge, the vehicle bodywork was constructed using a mix of a carbon fibre composite and Rohacell structural foam from Evonik.
