Mastering metal with ceramic creativity

Injection moulding machinery producer Arburg has expanded its powder injection moulding capabilities with the development of a ceramic injection moulded part that uses in-mould labelling(IML)technology to apply a metallic surface foil.The technique was demonstrated at the Euro PM2008 powder metallurgy conference in Mannheim,Germany,on a 12.5 tonne clamping force vertical moulding machine.
