Turnover of the German plastics processing industry reached another record in 2014, increasing by 2.6% to ?59.0bn. The growth rate was slightly higher than the 2.4% in 2013, outstripping German GNP growth again, the industry's GKV trade association announced at its traditional annual Ash Wednesday results briefing in February. The volume of material processed rose slightly faster than turnover, by 3% to 13.6m tonnes.
