Cap and closure moulder Mauer buys KM machines

Mauer USA has purchased two KraussMaffei injection moulding machines this year, as its caps and closure operation continues to grow six years after its German parent built the factory in northern Kentucky near Cincinnati. The two new KM CX machines bring Mauer USA up to 25 injection moulding machines, all from KraussMaffei. Nearly all of them have KM beam robots, although there are a few Star robots there. They have clamping forces ranging from 50-350 tonnes.
