Compounder A.Schulman to buy ICO

US compounder and distributor A. Schulman has signed a definitive deal to buy ICO, the global polymer powder and plastic film concentrates producer, for $191.4m(euro 126.6m). According to Joseph Gingo, chairman, president and CEO of A. Schulman, the deal offers the company an opportunity to expand globally, especially in the rotational moulding sector.
