PEEK polymer producer Victrex has launched a pipe and tube extrusion business, extending uses for the high performance material into offshore and aerospace pipe applications that are currently the domain of metals. Yictrex has created a new pipes business which is targeting harsh operating environments in the oil and gas, aerospace and other industries. It is extruding the pipes for PEEK polymer pipes at its manufacturing headquarters in Thornton Cleveleys, UK.
