KM adds value to moulding

摘要

KraussMaffei's injection moulding exhibits at K use highly automated production systems to integrate additional processes that add value to the finished part.The CoverForm process enables a part to be produced and a functional surface applied in a single step. Developed with Evonik, the system shown at K will produce a PMMA injection moulded truck mirror which will be coated in the AWM Mold Tech mould with a two-part acrylate-based anti-scratch layer.
