According to a report from ABI Research, 3D printing will continue to grow in popularity to be worth $782.6m (?529.8m) by 2013. At the end of calendar year 2008, there were more than 28,000 cumulative installations of 3D Printing systems in use, and industry revenue totalled about $620m (?420.2m). Europe made up $279m (?189.1m ) of that total, the consultancy told European Plastics News.
