Visiocorp to open Chinese mirror jv

Visiocorp, formerly Schefenack-er, has set up a joint venture manufacturing operation with Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic Company to produce exterior mirrors and other automotive components at Zhejiang, close to Shanghai in China. Production is due to start at the facility in the summer and will include exterior mirrors and fuel filler caps for VW and GM's local operations in China. The new unit will include injection moulding and robotic spray painting facilities.
