UK Tolmount FID in 2018

UK-based Premier Oil plans to make a Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Tolmount gas field in the UK North Sea in the first half of 2018 - with tendering for "major project scopes" imminent. Front End Engineering Design (FEED) work for the onshore and offshore parts of the Tolmount development is ongoing, Premier said, which operates the field in the Southern Gas Basin. The development plan includes a standalone platform with an export gas pipeline to shore. Tolmount was discovered by E.ON in 2011. Tolmount was then handed over to Premier when it acquired E.ON's UK North Sea assets in early 2016 for US $120m.
