Weinheim, Germany, Trelleborg, Sweden -Trelleborg and Freudenberg have signed a letter of intent to form a joint venture (JV) within the automotive antivibration sector. The JV will be a fully standalone entity consisting of Trelleborg Automotive's operations in antivibration solutions (avs) -currently about 75 percent of its overall business - and Freudenberg's corresponding activities, known as Vibracoustic. It will provide solutions for both light and heavy vehicles.
