NEDO project yields results

摘要

Bridgestone carried out research under the NEDO 'nanotech challenge' programme between 2009 and 2012, focusing on the design of tire compounds with three-dimensional nano-hierarchical architectures optimised for super fuel efficient tires. This work was aimed at not only reducing rolling resistance, but also solving the trading-off between rolling resistance and wear performance.
