Petrobras completes asset sale

Petrobras (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) has finalized the sale of Petrobras Chile Distribución (PCD; Santiago) to private equity firm Southern Cross Group. The deal was signed in July 2016. Cash inflow from the sale was $470 million, of which $90 million comes from the distribution of dividends, net of PCD taxes, which took place on 9 December 2016. Southern Cross paid the remaining $380 million 4 January 2017. This amount is still subject to final adjustments.
