Michelin to get tough with truck tyre counterfeiters

GROUPE MICHELIN HAS LAUNCHED A BLITZ AGAINST makers of truck tyres who copy Michelin tread patterns and then claim their tyres are as good as Michelin products,while selling them at around half the price.Michelin has issued legal action against Aeolus Tyre of Henan,China and its distributors in both North America and in Europe,said Philippe Verneuil,who is in charge of Michelin's truck tyre business in Europe.
