Nokian Tyres launches 'world's first tractor tire with siping'

Nokian, Finland - Nokian Heavy Tyres is introducing a new winter contracting tire for winter road maintenance and snow clearing - claiming it is the world's first tractor tire with siping. The Hakkapeliitta TRI introduces new technologies and in the first phase the size selection covers six sizes (three pairs) coming in Q4/2014, with an addition of three sizes coming in Q1/2015.
