Lanxess launches price increases

Cologne, Germany - Lanxess AG increased prices for its ethylene-vinyl acetate synthetic rubber grades to compensate for a rise in the cost of producing these polymers. Grades in the Levapren/Levamelt and Baymod L (EVM) product lines will increase by up to ?250 or $350 per tonne, the company said on 11 April. The increase took effect in the EMEA, LATAM, APAC and GC regions on 15 April, and in the NAFTA region on 21 April.
