Conti plan on 7 more tyre plants in period to 2025

Continental's tyre group has released its mid-term strategy document, covering the period to 2025. Presented by head of the tyre group, Nikolai Setzer, the document calls for more new tyre factories;;continuing the thrust into truck tyre operations and more emphasis on speciality tyres, such as off-road mining tyres and two-wheelers. The aim is to get a more balanced global operating position by 2025.
