The REACH clock has begun ticking for polymer and chemical companies that do business in or with Europe. At minimum, the regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals is a complicated exercise that will add costs for companies producing substances in Europe, or importing them into the region. At worst, it could cause some disruption in supply.
