VMI,Marangoni to offer flexible tyre building system

VMI AND MARANGONI MECCANICA are cooperating to build an automated tyre building system that,they claim,has all the advantages of Michelin's C3M (Confection Monofilament,Mondrian Miche-lin) and Pirelli's MIRS (Modular Integrated Roboti-cised System),without the technical risk.VMI has developed a system based on conventional building drums,yet using direct extrusion,strip winding and innovative breaker construction.
