Indian 'takeover king' Goenka dies

Kolkata, India - Rama Prasad Goenka (popularly known as "RP") died on 14 April at the age of 83, reports Mithun Dasgupta of the New Indian Express from an Indo-Asian News Service (IAN) source. Regarded as a "takeover king", Goenka established his RPG Enterprises in 1979 with four companies - Phillips Carbon Black, Asian Cables, Agarpara Jute and Murphy India - which he inherited when the family assets were divided.
