Freudenberg, ElringKlinger sign deal on gasket unit

Weinheim, Germany - Freudenberg Seals and Vibration Control Technology has signed a contract with the automotive supplier ElringKlinger AG, of Germany, which paves the way for a takeover of Freudenberg's cylinder head and exhaust gasket business on 1 Jan 2011. Both parties have agreed not to disclose specific details of the purchase price, but said it will be within a range of 0,6 to 0.8 times expected revenue for 2011.
