Lanxess raises prices for NBR,EPDM

LEVERKUSEN,GERMANY-Lanxess Technical Rubber Products(TRP)business unit has increased prices in the European market for its nitrile rubbers(NBR)Krynac and Perbunan and for Buna EP(EPDM)effective 1 April 2006.Prices for the American market were also increased in March/April 2006.The price increases were as follows:for standard-grade NBR up to euro120/ 145 per tonne,for special grades up to euro180 / 220 per tonne and for EPDM euro100/176 per tonne.
