Honda Motor Co.will fit Groupe Michelin's PAX system as standard on the top-end touring version of its 2005 Odyssey mini-van in North America.The minivan is the first volume model to be designed specifically for the runflat tyre system,and does not include space for a spare tyre.The Honda fitment will also mark the introduction of a polyurethane inner support ring on PAX.Dow Chemical Co.developed the reaction injection moulded ring with a remit to halve the weight of earlier rubber versions,which are typically around 4 kg.
