CHINA: China National Chemicals Co. (ChemChina) struck two agreements with Saudi and Russian companies within the first week of September, expanding its energy and rubber cooperation with the two oil-rich states. On 1 Sept, the firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with two Saudi companies, Saudi Aramco and the National Industrial Clusters Development Program (NICDP), to study the development of manufacturing facilities for speciality chemicals and automotive tires, and the orga-no-silicone and solar energy photovoltaic (PV) value chain, using local raw materials.
