UK: Suppliers have signalled plans for further expansion of their solution-styrene-butadi-ene rubber (SSBR) activities as demand continues to rise for the material in high performance tires. Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based Trinseo supplies SSBR to top-10 tire-makers in the three main global regions, and has announced plans for adding 50 kilotonne per annum (ktpa) of capacity at its plant in Schk-opau, Germany.
