Akron, Ohio —Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will begin making truck tyres in Dalian, China, in 2012 when a new500-million plant planned there starts up. The company is to relocate and expand its existing Goodyear Dalian Tire Co. Ltd to a greenfield site about 30 miles away in Pulandian, where it has secured "a significant parcel" of land to build the facility.
