ContinentalAG expect earnings for 2002 to be considerably above the 2001 level and is also forecasting a slight rise in sales for the final quarter, following strong third quarter results. The Hanover-based group said its Continental Automotive Systems unit, and its passenger and commercial vehicle tyre divisions, are set to contribute to these good results with "gratifying increases" in sales,and that the ContiTech technical rubber goods business, "will reach 2001's high level."
