The PSS operation makes 70 percent of its own seals and outsources some 30 percent, Arp said, with major materials used being rubber, polyurethane and PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene). Seal types include O- and V-rings, hydraulic seals, rotary shaft seals, pipe seals, ariframe seals, diaphragms and gaskets.
