VMI wins patent lawsuit against Chinese firm

THE NETHERLANDS: VMI has claimed "a huge victory" in its fight against patent infringement, with a Chinese court ruling against Shuangjun Plastic and Rubber Machinery Ltd (SPRML). In a statement on 29 June, the Dutch machinery company said the Chinese Intellectual Property Court supported VMI on all its claims against the Chinese company and awarded "the full compensation requested by VMI".
