Daetwyler Rubber expands business in NAFTA countries

SCHATTDORF, SWITZERLAND — In July 2008, Daetwyler Rubber opened a 5000-m2 plant in Silao, Guanajuato state, Mexico, within the so-called "Golden Triangle" of Mexico. In the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) zone more and more American factories of OEM carmakers and their suppliers are moving to Mexico, to utilise the advantages Mexico offers as a low-cost country known for its strong industrial development, said a Daetwyler statement.
