PPE Installs 2m O-Ring moulding machine

Blackburn, UK - Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) has installed the largest O-ring moulding machine in the UK, producing O-ring seals up to 2 metres in diameter. Weighing in at 122 tonnes, the ￡500,000 variable down-stroking press is capable of exerting between 50 and 500 tonnes of pressure. This, in conjunction with a vacuum chamber to eliminate air traps, produces exceptionally accurate moulded O-rings and custom parts, including discs, in depths up to 380mm.
