Lanxess raises prices for CR, NRR

Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess AG has increased its prices for nbr (nitrile-butadiene rubber] and cr (chloroprene rubber] globally effective 1 Sept 2009. Dependent on regions the price adjustment per metric ton comprises up to ?190/ USD 266 for nbr and up to ?150/USD 210forCR.This adjustment, said Lanxess, is unavoidable because the costs for raw materials have risen significantly.
