The synthesis of the intramolecularly coordinated pentacarbonyltungsten- organostannylene complexes {2,6-(Me_2NCH_2) _2C_6H_3}Sn(H)W(CO)_5 (2) and [{2,6-(Me_2NCH_2)_2C6H _3}Sn(u-OH)W(CO)_5]_2 (3) and the solid-state molecular structure of 3, as determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, are reported. Compound 3 is characterized by hydroxido bridges [Sn-O 2.068(5), 2.231(5) ?], an intramolecular NaSn coordination bond [2.501(7) ?] and an intramolecular O-HA···N hydrogen bond [OA···N 2.715(8) ?]. Intramolecular NaSn interactions and O-H···N hydrogen bonds stabilize a dimeric pentacarbonyltungsten-complexed organotin hydroxide.
