Sexuality of the Ancient Indians and the contribution of Sir Richard Burton (1821-1890)

This article describes the sexual practices of the Ancient Indians in relation to the dominant religions over the ages. The three major works of Indian erotology and the contribution of Sir Richard Burton to their elucidation are also discussed.
