The latest prognoses from environmental experts make for grim reading. Even the most restrained of reports indicate that the human race is living beyond its means in terms of using up the natural resources of the planet. The earth and its resources are mortgaged to the hilt to feed the requirements of the current generation and it is the next generation that will be forced to pick up the tab. One way of protecting these precious resources is to recycle more of what we use. Groupe Paprec in France has built a business upon what is thrown away and manages to turn a tidy profit by supplementing precious natural resources with recycled materials.
