Cardiac myxoid liposarcoma metastasis: Cardiac magnetic resonance features

We report the case of a 68-year-old male with previous lower right limb myxoid liposarcoma treated with surgery and radiotherapy without the evidence of recidive. On 2010, a routine thoracic CT scan showed a pericardial mass, confirmed by the transthoracic echocardiogram. A cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) was requested to better characterize the mass, and assess the myocardial infiltration in order to plan a best surgical approach.
